LCO offers a variety of hunts that include, mule deer, whitetail, antelope, and buffalo. These are 5 day hunts where the spot and stalk method is used most of the time but an occasional deer drive is also a successful way to harvest a good buck. Clients filling early can enjoy hunting small game the remainder of their stay. Our upland bird hunts have a minimum of 2 days but can last up to 10 days and include pheasant, grouse and partridge in the same package. Varmint hunters are welcome year around. Hunting Units are located in both South and North Dakota. It consists of 32,000 acres of private land, 6,500 acres CRP, and 123,000 acres of public land. All public land is access free but does not allow any organized guide service. For those who may want to fly into Lemmon, Ray Kolb field has a newly resurfaced runway that is 100 ft. wide and 4500 ft. long. Elevation is at 2570 feet. Shuttle service is also available from Rapid City, SD or Bismarck, ND. |
