Lodgepole Creek Outfitters has been
owned and operated by Steve and Susan Sandgren for over 25 years. Being born and
raised on a cattle ranch on the North Grand River in Perkins Co. South Dakota.
Steve grew up around many species of wildlife and being born into a hunting
family made his career choice easy--ranching and hunting. After harvesting a
huge mule deer at the age of 12, with the help of his father, Steve has been
committed to grooming and enhancing horn growth on that species ever since.
Three of Lodgepole Creek Outfitters' first guided clients started hunting with Steve in
1976 and since then these same East River hunters have been back 26 times for
deer and antelope hunts as well as many wild turkey hunts. References available for all hunting
